A Value-centric Organization

We initiated Transformity in the summer of 2020 and blogged about various learnings from our industry experiences and our interactions with executives. This thought leadership was showcased as a collection of transformation articles. In 2022, we also launched a video/podcast called “Spirited Dialog” as another channel to disseminate our ideas to a broader audience. Interestingly, it was a time too many ideas were floating in the atmosphere above us, and we decided to add another medium – write a book.

This collaboration had an interesting byproduct – an abundance of ideas, deep intellectual conversations, and passionate dialogue around business value – so we decided to pursue this endeavor together. We are excited to share that we are co-authoring a book on architecting business value for enterprises!

Architecting A Value-centric Organization

We booked a shared working space in Fairfield, CA, and filled the whiteboards and walls with drawings and sticky notes. Using Lean, Agile, and DevOps methods, we created a book outline and a product (book) roadmap. If stars align, the book should be out sometime in the summer of 2023. It is going to be an exciting 12 months, and we are looking forward to making the book a reality!

We often hear customer-centric or people-centric organizations, but those approaches address only one set of stakeholders of the company. On the other hand, a value-centric company delivers value not only for the customers, but also for employees, stakeholders, and shareholders, which fits into the current market economics and business models. This is the thesis of our book, and we intend to supplement our thoughts with case studies, examples, anecdotes, and artifacts. Our goal is to write a book that will not only engage you but also become a reference manual and a trusted advisor that leads you to a successful transformation.

We will be sharing snippets along the way, so stay tuned and join us on our book’s journey!
